This year, we officially kicked off our wedding season with a *BANG* with Tammy & Eugene’s sumptuous wedding at the Trump Hotel Chicago. Tammy is the sister of one of my good friends, Sarah of Hello Monday Creative (who designed this website!!)… and so after choosing their venue, Tammy’s next call was to me! Nearly a year in the making, I loved working with this wonderful couple to create their dream wedding. They wanted a classic, elegant affair with an emphasis on the floral and decor (my fave!). We pulled together a fabulous team and it was everything they dreamed it would be!
One of my favorite husband and wife duos, Pen Carlson Photography, was behind the lens and didn’t miss a moment of this beautiful day!
Eugene and his groomsmen looking dapper while waiting for things to get started.
Adorable boutonnieres with ranunculous on the left and a mini succulent on the right, both accented with a fiddlehead fern (the curly brown swirl).
A nice shot of the mini-itineraries that I put together for the Bridal Parties.
I could not get over Tammy’s gorgeous Monique Lhullier two-piece gown, with intricately beaded and embroidered bustier and high-waisted skirt. So fashion-forward!
She was absolute perfection, with classic, elegant hair and makeup by Sonia Roselli’s team.
Her amazing bouquet by Grace of Vale of Enna with fluffy peonies, anemonies, cymbidium orchids, ranunculous, and velvety dusty miller.
The bridesmaids bouquets also had grey succulents!
Time to get married at Holy Family Parish.
Tammy’s sister, Sarah, designed all the stationery pieces… naturally!
One of the two enormous alter pieces by Vale of Enna with sprays of pale pink dendrobium orchids.
Tammy’s mother wore a beautiful traditional Korean dress called a hanbok.
I can’t stop beaming at them!
Eugene was so happy to see his radiant bride!
They Do! They Kiss! Congratulations!
Stay tuned for Parts 2 and 3, with many more swoon-worth photos!
