Now where were we? Oh yes, Tammy and Eugene got married! Here is Part 1 with their getting ready and ceremony photos, by Pen Carlson. Next, they trolleyed around town for some fun bridal party photos!
One of the perks of hosting your wedding reception at the Trump is being able to take some gorgeous shots overlooking the city on on the spectacular outdoor terrace of Trump’s restaurant, Sixteen.
Tammy was truly one of the most glamourous brides we’ve had the honor of working with!
DETAILS & RECEPTION
We worked with Vale of Enna to create one of my favorite escort card tables of all time. In the center was a dramatic manzanita arrangement, literally dripping with phaelenopsis orchids, dangling crystals, and hanging votive candles. The escort cards (hand-written by me) were laid on a bed of rose petals in an ombre color scheme, going from white, ivory, pale pink, to bright pink, from one end of the table to the other. It was perfection.
Tammy was overjoyed when she saw the ballroom for the first time!
Vale of Enna worked her magic on these dramatic, draping centerpieces atop silver mirrored vases that dripped with peonies, roses, anemonies, orchids, lilies, and hanging amaranthus.
The centerpieces sat atop a rhinestone pedestal riser, and was surrounded by a quartet of stemmed candle holders, each wrapped with more rhinestones. The arrangement was also flanked by four petite satellite arrangements in mirrored vases. We chose dove grey linens, pale pink napkins and silver chiavari chairs, all rentals from Chaircovers by Sylwia.
The other style centerpiece was also tall and dramatic, in a rounder shape atop a white glass vase and draped with hanging crystals. The arrangement was also surrounded by stemmed candle holders, and larger satellite arrangements in white glass cylinders.
The two alter pieces from their ceremony with bursts of pink dendrobium orchids were re-used on their head feasting table.
Their favors were custom mugs with their Tammy and Eugene’s monogram.
Their delicious wedding cake was by Cake (yes, that’s the name of the bakery!), and had alternating tiers of delicious banana cake and chocolate fudge cake, both with a rich creme brulee filling. Delicate rhinestone bands and delicate piping perfectly complimented the trellis pattern and monogram on their wedding invitation, which you’ll see in the next photo below.
Frost Chicago created this beautiful fabric treatment in the ceiling with soft voile fabric, each section 10 feet wide, and lighted with a wash of pale pink lighting.
Pale pink uplights and centerpiece pin spots put the finishing touches on the Grand Ballroom.
Up next… their fun filled reception!
