Cassidy & Thad's Blackstone Hotel Wedding - Part 1
Cassidy & Thad asked for a romantic, elegant, and delightful wedding in a gorgeous ballroom... ask and ye shall receive! They had their wedding in the beautiful ballroom at the historic Blackstone Hotel on Michigan Avenue. The Blackstone has one of my favorite ballrooms in the city with its high ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and old world charm. A million thanks to Pen Carlson for sharing these amazing images! The invitations Cassidy chose from Magnificent Milestones truly set the tone for their formal wedding.
Cassidy looked stunning, with a slightly retro-glam look. Her textured and organic bouquet by Vale of Enna looked like it was freshly plucked from an English Garden. The blue delphiniums were a slight accent as a nod to Thad's favorite color blue.
A vintage car to the ceremony...
Their traditional Catholic ceremony was at St. Joseph Church in River North.
