Amazing, professional SHERO Charlene
My husband and I have demanding jobs so when we decided we wanted a wedding for 120 guests, our first choice was Sweetchic and Charlene. We could not have done it without her. She is organized, experienced, thorough, and patient, the entire process was easy and enjoyable for us. She even helped us through ideas we had not even flushed out or thought about before. We had multiple vendors (including the venue, the DJ, our florist) say how impressed they were with Charlene and wanted her contact information for future collaborations. She pays attention the to the details and is never frustrated or flustered. Our wedding day was so enjoyable and smooth we didn't have anything to worry about except to enjoy the celebration between our families (which was priceless!). Charlene is a gem and we are so thankful for all that she has done for us.

Courtney H. at Sweetchic is amazing! We interviewed three wedding planners and decided on Courtney almost immediately after the interview. She is punctual, great with organization, and responded to all of our stupid questions/needs quickly without hesitation. Very friendly and an awesome person to work with for the months up to the wedding and the day of. She guided us through the vendor selection and budget process without any headaches and with awesome communication at every step. Highly recommend her and this Sweetchic to anyone that doesn't need the extra stress of planning a wedding like me!

We hired Kelsey as a partial planner for our January 2022 wedding and it was a great experience! She was so helpful and supportive throughout the entire process, and helped us deal with COVID-19 curveballs up until the day of. Courtney and Brooke were incredible! Courtney really made us feel confident in navigating the wedding planning process and choosing the right vendors. Courtney's industry knowledge and experience is invaluable and made us feel like we were in good hands from the very start. Without her, we definitely could not have brought our wedding vision to life as beautifully as we did. Their Day-of coordinating was a life-saver. Both Brooke and Courtney effectively ran the show and gave everyone the direction they needed to make the ceremony move long smoothly.
We would recommend Sweetchic events to any couple getting married in the Chicagoland area. The quality of service they provide in this price range is unmatched.

The best decision we made for our wedding was hiring Kelsey as our planner… She was essential in helping us navigate all the options when it came to floral, lighting, decor, hotels, and transportation. She was always quick to respond to any question we had, and has a knowledge of the business and systems that proved to be invaluable. Kelsey was open and flexible to our unique style, and we never felt like she was intense or pushing us to do one thing or another (something we were a little worried about before we picked a planner!). She really made us comfortable and made it clear that she was there to support and execute the vision we had for our wedding… We feel so grateful to have chosen Sweetchic and would highly recommend their services to anyone who is looking for a wedding planner!!

Charlene’s consistency in our 3 year relationship is a true testament to her commitment to her clients, and makes her a standout. Aside from Charlene being incredibly knowledgeable, organized and detail oriented, she is genuinely kinds to work with. Several times she stepped in last minute to handle details I had undertaken at a time when I felt a bit overwhelmed. This truly made all the difference to me! My daughter would often comment, “What would we do without Charlene?” as both she and her husband remain beyond grateful for both gorgeous events Charlene produced for them, as well as for her patience and thoughtfulness throughout their long journey... I would say Sweetchic is the ultimate blend of the professionalism you need for a seamless wedding and the warmth you want for a beautiful experience. Unlike other event planners, there is no one size fits all mentality, and they will do as much or as little needed for your special day. And while Charlene’s input was invaluable, she always made it clear that the specific vision was at all times in our hands.
